Trading on Lighter (Robinhood Chain)
Zipr's perps run on Lighter on Robinhood Chain: crypto, stock and commodity perpetuals with USDG collateral.
About Lighter
Zipr's Perps page trades on Lighter on Robinhood Chain, Lighter's deployment that settles to Robinhood Chain. Trades are matched off-chain and proven on Robinhood Chain. Besides crypto, it lists markets that track stocks, indices and commodities, some of which follow their market's trading hours. Your collateral is USDG (Global Dollar), and deposits and withdrawals happen on Robinhood Chain.
Creating your account
Your Lighter account is created by your first deposit. Deposit at least 5 USDG on Robinhood Chain (see below); once it arrives, the order panel offers to enable trading.
Enable trading
- 1Select Enable trading in the order panel.
- 2Sign one message in your wallet. It registers a Zipr trading key on your Lighter account; signing is free and sends no transaction.
- 3Trade. Orders are signed by the key in your browser, without a wallet prompt each time.
The key is created and stored only in this browser, in its own slot on your account, so it never replaces a key you use in Lighter's app or elsewhere. It can place and cancel orders, change leverage, and request a withdrawal that Lighter can only pay to your own wallet address. Use Reset key to forget it on this device.
Orders

| Stop | Triggers when the price reaches your level, then executes at market or at your limit price. |
| TWAP | Splits your order into small market orders spread evenly over 5 minutes to 30 days. Slices never fill past your limit price, or 5% from the price when you placed it. Lighter runs it, so it continues when Zipr is closed. |
| Scale | Places 2 to 20 limit orders spread evenly between two prices. Each order must meet the market's minimum order value. |
Take profit and stop loss can be attached to a market or limit order, or set later on an open position. With both set, whichever fills first cancels the other. Leverage and cross or isolated margin are set per market before your order, up to each market's maximum.
Positions, funding & PnL
Under the chart, Positions, Open Orders and Trade History show your account live. Funding lists every funding payment on your positions with the rate and amount, and your net total. PnL charts your trading PnL over 7 days to a year, with your volume. Your Lighter PnL also appears on the Portfolio page. Order History lists your filled, cancelled and expired orders. Positions flag a liquidation price within 10% of the mark, isolated positions can add or remove margin, and TP/SL can be set by a percentage from your entry.

No USDG yet? Choose Deposit in the header, open Bridge and pick Lighter Perps (Robinhood Chain) as the destination: Relay converts USDC or ETH from another network into USDG in your wallet on Robinhood Chain. Then deposit it from the Perps page. See Deposits.
Fees
Lighter's Standard accounts trade without trading fees. Premium and Plus accounts pay Lighter's tiered fees in exchange for lower latency; the order panel shows the fee for your account type. Zipr adds no fee to Standard accounts.
Traders & points
- Open any Lighter account's positions and PnL from Traders in the Perps menu, with its new trades streaming in live. Lighter doesn't publish a trader leaderboard, so accounts are opened by index or wallet address.
- Lighter trades placed through Zipr earn Zipr Points.
